Update on Dakota Tedder and Nick Wey
Dakota: After starting the Monster Energy Supercross Season with success making 450 Class Main Events; he switched to the 250 East Class where he was injured at the first race in Atlanta. Dakota did manage to finish 40th overall in the 450 Supercross tour with his brief 4 event run at the beginning of the year.
He has recovered from his Supercross Injuries and is training hard with Nick to rejoin the Lucas Oil Motocross Tour at the Hi-Point National in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania on June 18, 2016.
Dakota will be at the Malcolm Smith Motorsports Autograph Signing this Friday along with 2016 Supercross Champion Ryan Dungy, Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac / Josh Grant and a host of other team riders – Please come by this event to see all the great motorcycles and products available at the Malcolm Smith Motorsports Complex.
Come by the Monster Energy – Team Tedder – Kawasaki Racing Pits at this weekend’s Glen Helen Motocross Nationals to say hello. We will have plenty of shade, snacks and tasty Monster Energy Drinks!
Nick: After starting the Monster Energy Supercross Season half way thru Nick made every main event and finished an impressive 23rd overall in the 450 Supercross tour with a seasons best 14th at the Toronto Supercross Round. Congratulations to Nick! Nick has decided to sit out the Lucas Oil Motocross Tour, however he will be helping Dakota prepare for 450 Class in the Lucas Oil Outdoor Motocross Tour. Nicks years of Championships and Leadership will be an invaluable asset to the team and Dakota.
